Please note that this is a master privacy policy and some of its provisions only apply to individuals in certain jurisdictions. For example, the legal basis in the table below is only relevant to GDPR-protected individuals. 1.1 When you browse or visit our Website

For example, when you attend one of our events and you provide us with your contact details. We will use this information to answer your enquiries or provide additional information to you.

1.7 Personal Information we collect from online webinars and events.
If you attend a webinar, contact us via social media or otherwise interact with our business, including as a representative of a current / prospective customer, supplier or partner, we track and make a record of those interactions, which may contain your contact details, such as full name, email address, messages and any other information that you decide to provide us with.

1.8 When we use the Personal Information of our customers.
- Personal Information we collect: Full name, email address, company names, usage of our Services, payment information and any other Personal Information you chose to decide to provide/supply us with.
- For what purposes: To provide our Services and to send Service-related communications (including to analyze your requests and questions regarding the services), to perform the agreement, to send surveys and to receive feedback about our Services, to analyze the usage of the Services, to monitor the functionality of the Services, to customize your experience and to improve our Services.
- Legal basis (GDPR only, if applicable): Performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party (e.g., our terms and conditions) and/or legitimate interest.
- Consequences of not providing the Personal Information: Cannot provide our services and cannot send service-related communications (including to analyze your requests and questions regarding the Services), cannot perform the agreement, cannot send surveys and cannot receive feedback about our Services, cannot analyze the usage of the Services, cannot monitor the functionality of the Services, cannot customize your experience and cannot improve our Services.
- Marketing communications: We will collect your full name and email address to send you marketing communications. If you do not provide us with the Personal Data, we cannot send marketing communications. You have the right to unsubscribe from all marketing communications.
1.9 Use of Anonymous Information. In certain cases, we may or will anonymize or de-identify your Personal Information (“Anonymous Information“) and further use it for internal and external purposes, including, without limitation, to improve our Services (including through the use of artificial intelligence) and enhance your user experience within the Service and for research purposes. We may use this anonymous or de-identified information and/or disclose it to third parties without restrictions (for example, in order to improve our services and enhance your experience with them and/or to develop new product features and improve existing offerings).
2. Use of third-party tools
2.1 We use third-party tools, software, or services to complete purchases and transactions, and also to provide certain Site-related Services. We make our best efforts to communicate with appropriate providers that will handle your Personal Information according to our requirements and legal requirements. However, in any case where you perform an action on the Site, including using a third-party service provider other than us, and their identity and details are presented to you in any way (for example, through a payment page with a logo operated by an external provider), you will be subject to the privacy policy of that party, and it is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with it and ensure that you agree with all its terms before performing any related action. We will not be responsible for any damage that may be caused to you as a result of providing information to a third party, and you are solely responsible for it.
3. Analytical Tools
3.1 Google Analytics. We use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about the use of the Site. Google Analytics collects information such as the frequency of user visits to the service, the pages they visit, and the websites they visit before entering the service. We use the information obtained from Google Analytics to maintain and improve the service and our products. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Google’s ability to use and share information collected through Google Analytics about your visits and use of the service is limited by the Google Analytics Terms of Service published at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/us.html and Google’s Privacy Policy published at http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/. 3.2 Hotjar. The Website uses Hotjar in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize this service and experience. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices. This includes a device’s IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language used to display our website. Hotjar stores this information in a pseudonymized user profile. Hotjar is contractually forbidden to sell any of the data collected on our behalf. 3.3 Facebook Pixels and SDKs. We use Facebook pixels or SDKs, which are tools that provide help to website owners and publishers, developers, advertisers, business partners (and their customers) and others integrate, use and exchange information with Facebook, as such the collection and use of information for ad targeting. Please note that third parties, including Facebook, use cookies, web beacons, and other storage technologies to collect or receive information from your websites and elsewhere on the internet and use that information to provide measurement services and target ads. Facebook’s ability to use and share information is governed by the Facebook Tools Terms, available at: https://www.facebook.com/legal/technology_terms/. You can prevent your data from being used by Facebook Pixels and SDKs by exercising your choice through these mechanisms: http://www.aboutads.info/ choices or http://www.youronlinechoices.eu/.
3.4 Google Signals. The Website uses a tool called “Google Signals” to collect information about use of the Website. When we activate Google Signals, some existing Google Analytics features are updated to also include aggregated data from Google users who have turned on “Ads Personalization” (Ads Personalization available at https://support.google.com/ads/answer/2662856/). Audiences that we create in Google Analytics and publish to Google Ads and other Google Marketing Platform advertising products can serve ads in cross device-eligible remarketing campaigns to Google users who have turned on Ads Personalization. Google Analytics collects additional information about users who have turned on Ads Personalization, base across device types and on aggregated data from users who have turned on Ads Personalization. The data is user based rather than session based. The Cross Device reports include only aggregated data. No data for individual users is ever exposed. You can modify your interests, choose whether your Personal Data is used to make ads more relevant to you, and turn on or off certain advertising services in the Ads Personalization link above.
3.5 Advertising Partners. Through our services, we allow third party advertising partners to set technologies and other tracking tools to collect information regarding your activities and your device (e.g., your IP address, website identifiers, page(s) visited, location, time of day). We also combine and share such information and other information (such as demographic information and past purchase history) with third party advertising partners. These advertising partners will use this information (and similar information collected from other websites) for purposes of delivering targeted advertisements to you when you visit third party websites within their networks. This practice is commonly referred to as “interest-based advertising” or “online behavioral advertising. We allow access to other data collected by the services to share information that may be useful, relevant, valuable or otherwise of interest to you. If you prefer not to share your Personal Information with third party advertising partners, you may let us know.
3.6 Additionally, the company collects data and performs statistical analysis about the use of the Site itself or through third-party companies (including, by installing cookies, analytic tools and tracking technologies on the Site). These third-party companies collect and analyze information about the extent of usage, the frequency of use, user access sources to the Site, and the like. The collected information is essentially statistical and is intended for analysis, research, development, and control purposes, and the company may use it, including transferring it to third parties, at its sole discretion. 4.1 We may share Personal Information in the following cases:
4.1.1 We share Personal Information with affiliated companies and business partners to assist us in processing Personal Information and providing Services.
4.1.2 We share Personal Information with third-party service providers (such as GNS) and partners to support our business operations and provide our services to you and other users. Such information may also be transferred to providers in other countries, including the United States .
4.1.3 We disclose Personal Information if we believe in good faith that access, use, retention, or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to: (1) comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or government request; (2) enforce the Terms of Use, including investigating potential violations of the terms on the Site or any other agreement with us; (3) identify, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues; (4) protect against any harm to the rights, property, or safety of the company or its representatives, users, or the public.
4.1.4 In the event that our company is acquired or merged with a third party, or in the case of bankruptcy or a similar event, we reserve the right to transfer or assign Personal Information relating to the Site and/or our Services, in accordance with applicable law.
4.1.5 Where you have provided your consent to us sharing or transferring your Personal Data (e.g., where you provide us with marketing consents or opt-in to optional additional services or functionality).
5. How We Protect And Retain Your Information
5.1 Security. We implemented industry-standard security measures, including the use of organizational, physical, and technical security measures to protect the Personal Information in our systems, including data encryption. However, no online communication method or electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to implement the necessary measures to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security or confidentiality. 5.2 Retention of your Personal Data. In addition to the retention periods mentioned above, please note that in some circumstances we may store your Personal Data for longer periods of time, for example (i) where we are required to do so in accordance with legal, regulatory, tax or accounting requirements, or (ii) for us to have an accurate record of your dealings with us in the event of any complaints or challenges, or (iii) if we reasonably believe there is a prospect of litigation relating to your Personal Data or dealings.
6. Additional Information Regarding Transfers of Personal Information
6.1 Storage: We store the Personal Data on the company servers, in the following jurisdictions: Israel (information from Portugal), Italy (information from Italy), the US (information from the US) and Japan (information from Japan).
6.2 External transfers. Where we transfer your Personal Information outside of EU/EEA (for example to third parties who provide us with services), we will generally rely on adequacy decisions adopted by the European Commission based on Article 45 of the GDPR, Standard Contractual Clauses laid down by the European Commission, or any other approved transfer mechanism. We continually monitor the circumstances surrounding such transfers to ensure that these maintain, in practice, a level of protection that is essentially equivalent to the level of protection guaranteed by the GDPR generally obtain contractual commitments to protect your Personal Information.
6.3 Internal transfers. Transfers within the Simplex group will be covered by an internal processing agreement entered into by members of the Simplex group (an intra-group data processing agreement) which contractually obliges each member to ensure that Personal Data receives an adequate and consistent level of protection wherever it is transferred to. 7. Your Privacy Rights.
7.1 The following rights (which may be subject to certain exemptions or derogations) shall apply to certain individuals (some of which only apply to individuals protected by specific laws, for example, the GDPR, or applicable US laws):
7.1.1 You have a right to access Personal Information held about you. Your right of access may normally be exercised free of charge, however we reserve the right to charge an appropriate administrative fee where permitted by applicable law;
7.1.2 You have the right to request that we rectify any Personal Information we hold that is inaccurate or misleading;
7.1.3 You have the right to request the erasure/deletion of your Personal Information (e.g. from our records). Please note that there may be circumstances in which we are required to retain your Personal Information, for example for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims;
7.1.4 You have the right to object, to or to request restriction, of the processing;
7.1.5 You have a right to correct inaccurate Personal Information we have about you;
7.1.6 You have the right to restriction of, or object to, processing of your Personal Information, including the right to opt in or opt out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Information to third parties, if applicable, where such requests are permitted by law;
7.1.7 You have the right to data portability. This means that you may have the right to receive your Personal Information in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and that you have the right to transmit that data to another controller;
7.1.8 You have the right to object to profiling;
7.1.9 You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Please note that there may be circumstances in which we are entitled to continue processing your data, in particular if the processing is required to meet our legal and regulatory obligations. Also, please note that the withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal;
7.1.10 You also have a right to request certain details of the basis on which your Personal Information is transferred outside the European Economic Area, but data transfer agreements and/or other details may need to be partially redacted for reasons of commercial confidentiality;
7.1.11 You have a right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority (i.e., your place of habitual residence, place or work or place of alleged infringement) at any time or before the relevant institutions in your place of residence. We ask that you please attempt to resolve any issues with us before you contact your local supervisory authority and/or relevant institution.

You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf if you provide the authorized agent written permission signed by you. To protect your privacy, we may take steps to verify your identity before fulfilling your request. Subject to legal and other permissible considerations, we will make every reasonable effort to honor your request promptly in accordance with applicable law or inform you if we require further information in order to fulfil your request. When processing your request, we may ask you for additional information to confirm or verify your identity and for security purposes, before processing and/or honoring your request. We reserve the right to charge a fee where permitted by law, for instance if your request is manifestly unfounded or excessive. In the event that your request would adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others (for example, would impact the duty of confidentiality we owe to others) or if we are legally entitled to deal with your request in a different way than initial requested, we will address your request to the maximum extent possible, all in accordance with applicable law.
7.3 Deleting your account: Should you ever decide to delete your account, you may do so by emailing [email protected]. If you terminate your account, any association between your account and Personal Information we store will no longer be accessible through your account. However, given the nature of sharing on certain services, any public activity on your account prior to deletion will remain stored on our servers and will remain accessible to the public.
7.4 Opt-Out. You can choose not to receive promotional email messages or other email messages regarding the services by clicking the unsubscribe link in the distribution list, as required by law. Please note that even if you choose not to receive promotional emails from us, we may still send you service-related and/or operational messages, including responses to “contact us” requests, support requests, or any other requests (e.g., password change) directly to your email address. However, if you do not wish to receive such updates, please contact us through the contact form on the Site or directly at [email protected].
8. Children’s Privacy
8.1 The Services and our Site are not intended for children under the age of 18. No one under age 18 may provide personal information to us. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If you are under 18, do not provide us with any personal information through our Site or Services.
8.2 However, there may be cases where, at your discretion and choice, you grant access to the Site and Services on a device operated by your minor child, and information about them may be collected by us as a result. In such a case, you confirm that as the minor’s parent or legal guardian, you consent on their behalf to this Privacy Policy.
8.3 If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 18 without parental consent, we will delete the information. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child, please contact us at [email protected].
9. California Privacy Rights
9.1 California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits our customers who are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of Personal Information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please send an email to [email protected]. Please note that we are only required to respond to one request per customer each year.
9.2 Our California Do Not Track Notice: Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a privacy preference that users can set in certain web browsers. Please note that we do not respond to or honor DNT signals or similar mechanisms transmitted by web browsers, but we may allow third parties, such as companies that provide us with analytics tools, to collect personally identifiable information about an individual consumer’s online activities over time and across different web sites when a consumer uses the Services.
